1. With one finger hold the release tang to the other side of the opening and slide the locking sleeve to the unlocked position.
2. Un-thread the connection.

Note:
  • An occasional shot of spray lubricant into the lock-ring hole will flush out any contaminates that may cause the unit to become sticky. Speedlox recommends that if your hose end does not rotate freely, you should replace it with a new hose end.
Speedlox Installation
Removal
1. Install the Speedlox fitting
2. With one finger, move the lock ring tangs together and slide the locking    sleeve back into the unlocked position.
3. Torque the Speedlox fitting to specifications of the AN counterpart.
4. Install your existing hose end or B-Nut and tighten by hand.
5. The mating surfaces of the hose end must come into contact with the Teflon seal, then compressed in order to seal the connection.
6. Align internal and external splines.
7. Push the locking sleeve forward until the internal lock-ring snaps into the locked position.

Note:
  • Speedlox in the unlocked position allows for adequate wrench clearance to tighten the fitting body.
  • The line connection may be inserted into the B-Nut guide, then unlocked and threaded on.
  • A wrenching surface is provided to enable the connection to be torqued to specs if required.
